I lost myself in books as a child, wearing my pink leotard to bed and falling in love with films like E.T. I found inspiration everywhere. My Lucky Charms cereal box. Perfume bottles. Soda cans. Lace.

I'm not very different now. I discovered that with photography I was able to connect the events that took place in my life and made me who I am: a story teller. I notice color, texture, emotion, and curves. There are elements to everyone's story that one detail, similar to taste or smell, can trigger a memory.

And that right there is what makes my heart yearn. To be able to trigger a memory instantly and tell your story through my art.
